When my brother in law died recently his council bungalow required clearing right back to the original shell removing all carpets, curtains, poles, light shades etc as well as the general furniture etc . Unfortunately we lived too far away to do any of it ourselves and were so impressed with Clare who came and advised us of what had to be removed for the council. She sent a quote the very same day and gave us dates to fit in with the limited time span we had to have the place emptied. I contacted Clare a couple of days after my father died, which in turn was five days after my mother had died. The initial conversation with Clare was simply a phone enquiry that was followed up much later on, for personal reasons. Regardless Clare could remember the telephone call with clarity so immediately it gave the impression that she had listened well and cared.
Following the first meeting with Clare to discuss the possible clearance and get a quote, it was obvious that she was extremely professional, very experienced and totally aware of the emotions that come with emptying the property of a loved one who had passed away. Clare completed this process with great efficiency and gave the impression that nothing was too much trouble. What I found particularly heart warming was the clear intention to recycle as much as possible e.g. even old towels are given to dog’s homes.
There was then a very prompt email with the quote and all documentation related to the authenticity and good practice of running a successful business.
The quote was well priced and Clare was chosen for the clearance without any hesitation.
I was not present during the actual clearing out as we do not live in the area. However, part of Clare’s package is to send photographs to show the emptied property afterwards, which was tidy and hoovered, so there was absolutely no doubt that the job had been completed to perfection.
The whole process from start to finish was exactly as Clare promised. The end result was excellent and I would therefore highly recommend Clare, without any doubt whatsoever.

We needed to clear the family home after my father's death, and we needed to do it quickly because the house sold unexpectedly fast. Neither my brother nor I live in the Salisbury district, which is where the house is and we had no local knowledge of auctioneers or house clearers, so we picked a firm from the internet, going by the quality of the website, and the reviews. From the start it was clear that we had made a good choice; on the phone Clare was friendly but professional and knowledgeable. At the meeting at the house Clare was helpful and sensitive, and managed to squeeze us in four days before the anticipated completion date. It was not necessary for me to be at the house on the day, and at the end of the process Clare emailed me a complete set of photo's of the property which had been completely emptied and hoovered throughout. Bearing in mind the state of the place before they attended it, this was a mammoth task, completed within the day. The fee was very reasonable, and fully deserved.

  My sister and I recently had to travel from Kent to Salisbury to clear our aunt’s flat as, sadly, she has dementia and has had to go into care. We only had three days in which to empty the flat and thought it best (particularly as the flat was three floors up without a lift!) to use a house clearance firm. Clare visited the property and gave us a very reasonable quote to clear the flat entirely, including all rubbish. In view of the fact that we only had three days to sort everything, Clare said she would be able to come the next morning. She duly turned up with three young lads and my sister and I can honestly say that we have never seen anyone work so efficiently. The flat was cleared within two hours – there was no noise or crashing of furniture, they simply got on with the job. The young lads were so polite and courteous and treated everything they took out with care and respect, acknowledging that the contents of this flat were once loved and cared for by somebody. We were pleased that practically everything would be recycled, rather than just dumped in a landfill site. We found it quite a sad experience dismantling our much loved aunt’s home but couldn’t have had a more sympathetic team of people to help us with this task.   My elderly mother lived near Warminster & after a spell in hospital it was decided she needed to go in to a care home. Trying to arrange this and the worry of what to do with all her belongings in her sheltered accomodation was a big worry.
